Bixby rose to fame in the 1960s for his starring role as Tim O'Hara in the sitcom "The Courtship of Eddie's Father." The series ran for five seasons and earned Bixby two Emmy Award nominations. In the 1970s, he starred as Dr. David Banner in the iconic television series "The Incredible Hulk," which became one of the most successful superhero shows of all time.
