Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs Arrested in UCLA Campus Arrest

Diddy Arrested by University of California Los Angeles Campus Police

After being called to a disturbance on campus, Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs was taken into custody by UCLA Campus Police and then handcuffed and placed in the back of a police car.

The details of the incident have not been released, but according to reports, a verbal argument broke out on the UCLA campus in the athletic department offices between Diddy and another coach over a disagreement about usage of the athletic facilities space for a music video shoot.

UCLA Custodial Arrest

According to UCLA police, Diddy, whose real name is Sean Combs, was arrested for suspicion of assault with a deadly weapon, which is a felony, and was transported to the Los Angeles County jail.

UCLA is not releasing the name of the coach who was allegedly assaulted. No students were involved in the incident, and no one was injured.

Diddy Pleads Not Guilty

Diddy pleaded not guilty to the charge of assault with a deadly weapon and is scheduled to appear in court on August 22, 2023.

Combs, 53, is a Grammy Award-winning rapper, singer, songwriter, record producer, and entrepreneur. He is the founder of Bad Boy Records and has produced and released music for artists such as The Notorious B.I.G., Faith Evans, Mase, 112, and French Montana.

Diddy’s History of Arrests

This is not the first time that Diddy has been arrested. In 1999, he was arrested for weapons possession and bribery. In 2001, he was arrested for assault in a nightclub. And in 2015, he was arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol.
