Claudio Marchionni, former Juventus midfielder, spoke about the possible farewell of Federico Chiesa to the bianconeri. The winger, who has been linked with a move to Liverpool in recent weeks, has not been a regular starter under Massimiliano Allegri this season.
Marchionni believes that Chiesa needs to leave Juventus in order to fulfil his potential. "I think it's a good idea for Chiesa to leave Juventus," he said. "He's a great player, but he hasn't been given the right space by Allegri. He needs to go to a club that believes in him and gives him the chance to play regularly."
Marchionni also believes that Chiesa would be a good fit for Liverpool. "I think he would be a great signing for Liverpool," he said. "He's a versatile player who can play in a number of positions. He's also a very good goalscorer. I think he would be a great addition to their squad."
