Audi Introduces New A5 Model Family, Including All-Electric A6 e-tron

2024 A5 Avant Debuts with New Super Combustion Engines
Ingolstadt, Germany – Audi is set to introduce 20 new models in 2024 and 2025, including the next-generation A5 due out in July. The A5 family is the first to be launched on the Premium Platform Combustion PPC.
The all-new Audi A5 will debut on July 16, replacing the current A4. The A5 family will include both sedan and Avant (wagon) body styles.
The new A5 features a number of significant updates, both inside and out. The exterior has been redesigned with a more aggressive and sporty look, while the interior has been updated with new materials and technologies.
Under the hood, the A5 will be powered by a range of new and updated engines, including a new 2.0-liter turbocharged inline-four and a 3.0-liter turbocharged V6. The A5 will also be available with a plug-in hybrid powertrain.
In addition to the A5, Audi will also unveil a fully electric A6 e-tron in late 2024. The A6 e-tron will be the first electric vehicle based on the new Premium Platform Electric PPE.
