The Mutua Madrid Open will return to La Caja Mágica from 22 April to 5 May 2024, the tournament organizers have announced.
The ATP Masters 1000 tournament is one of the most prestigious events on the tennis calendar, and has been won by some of the biggest names in the sport, including Rafael Nadal, Novak Djokovic and Roger Federer.
Tickets for the 2024 tournament are on sale now, and can be purchased from the tournament website.
The Mutua Madrid Open was first held in 2002, and has been played at La Caja Mágica since 2009. The tournament is owned and operated by Ion Tiriac, a former Romanian tennis player.
The tournament is one of the nine Masters 1000 tournaments on the ATP Tour, and is the only one to be played on clay. The other eight Masters 1000 tournaments are played on hard courts.
The Mutua Madrid Open is a popular event with fans, and attracts large crowds each year. The tournament is also a major economic driver for the city of Madrid.
