LOS ANGELES -- Luka Doncic scored 24 points and the Dallas Mavericks led by a NBA-record 50 points at halftime in a 124-73 rout of the Los Angeles Clippers. The Mavericks, who won their fourth straight game, led 32-11 after the first quarter and extended their lead to 50-23 at the break. It was the largest halftime lead in NBA history, surpassing the previous record of 47 points set by the Golden State Warriors against the Memphis Grizzlies on February 2, 2019. Doncic, who was 9-of-15 from the field and 4-of-8 from three-point range, also had 8 rebounds and 7 assists. Kristaps Porzingis added 19 points for the Mavericks, while Tim Hardaway Jr. and Maxi Kleber each scored 15. The Clippers, who have lost four of their last five games, were led by Kawhi Leonard's 17 points. Paul George added 15 points, while Marcus Morris Sr. had 12. The Mavericks shot 52.4% from the field and 37.5% from three-point range, while the Clippers shot just 39.8% from the field and 28.6% from three-point range. The Mavericks also outrebounded the Clippers 46-22 and had 10 more assists. The win improves the Mavericks' record to 14-16, while the Clippers fall to 21-12.
